Check, Service and Clean Furnace - Check list:

1. Clean interior & exterior of furnace - Provides safety.

2. Clean burners - Dirty burners prevent gas from being burned properly & efficiently.

3. Clean pilot assembly - Adjust flame. Extends life of  thermocouple, saves money.

4. Check thermocouple or flame sensor - Prevent emergency service call.

5. Set gas manifold pressure - Provides safety, extends life of heat exchanger, fuel economy & system effectiveness.

6. Check safety devices - Inoperative safety controls can cause dangerous problems.

7. Inspect heat exchanger for cracks and leaks - Safety check for possibility of  leak of carbon monoxide into

the house & flame rollout.
